Who We are

Green Carbon Solutions (“GCS”) is a climate-tech company pursuing a path to “net negative” by advancing the integration of technologies and the applications of carbonized biomass, bio-energy, bio-oil and carbon capture.

To achieve meaningful reductions in atmospheric CO2 concentrations, a variety of technologies will be required. Biomass carbon removal and storage (“BiCRS”) offers a unique path to CO2 removal by leveraging billions of tons of CO₂ being captured via photosynthesis and converting it via pyrolysis into valuable low carbon intensity products and carbon credits.  When carbon capture of process emissions is integrated into pyrolysis operations, the business model is truly net negative.

GCS captures every element of value from the pyrolysis process.  We have optimized our energy balance and production process to produce bio-oil and bio-energy.  Using our bio-energy to produce bio-electricity and steam, we increase our efficiency and sustainability, eliminate the need for outside energy and reduce our carbon footprint.

By both reducing CO2 emissions in hard-to-abate industries and sequestering carbon, GCS will remove more CO2 than it emits.

  • Optimized for the production of high-quality engineered bio-carbon while recovering and using all process heat and syngas to produce bio-energy and/or bio-oil

Martin Ellis is the President and Founder of Green Carbon Solutions. He is a Senior Executive and Board Director with a 30-year history of leadership in manufacturing, technology, software, distribution and professional services.

Dr. Roesler has served as a senior executive in the US for several international companies. Dr. Roesler has served as a board member of “Global Science” (Scientific American in China) and “Nikkei Science” (Scientific American in Japan) and is a registered member of SPE (Society of Plastics Engineers).
